Introduced back in generation 2, there would be a small chance for a different colored Pokémon to appear. These rare “shiny” Pokémon would become something that many collectors strive to obtain. Over the past few years, there have been many methods to increase the rate of a shiny encounter. With 33 main series titles, many games share some methods while others have their own unique method. This makes it so some games are better for hunting certain Pokémon than others.
Since the release of the Xbox 360 back in 2006, achievements have made their way into gaming as a kind of medal of honor. Completing the achievement list for a game not only shows people how much you love a game; but also, the dedication to explorer almost every single part the game has to offer. While many games require hundreds of hours and multiple playthroughs to complete, there are many great games with easy achievements. This list will follow games that are easy to complete but still leaves the player with a sense of accomplishment.
There’s nothing like the feeling of seeing the achievements of an amazing game pop-up on screen. Whether it be through having the Gamerscore add up in your Xbox account or seeing all the platinum trophies on someone’s PSN account, there’s always a sense of pride that follows showing people your account. Having only started platinum hunting at the end of 2018 as a personal challenge; I had never really thought about completing any games to completion before that. Who knew that challenge would lead to one of my biggest hobbies? As I mainly play most of my games on PlayStation, I will be talking in terms of PSN, but this can be carried over to other platforms as well.
