Review: Black Ops 3 Beta

This weekend, after an extraordinarily long install process, I got around to playing the Black Ops 3 beta.

At first it felt promising- was this the change of pace the series so desperately needed? The combat felt snappy and generally responsive, and the maps were well thought out, avoiding the choke-point based design that plagues games like Battlefield.

Interview: Ektomarch Releasing Trans-Positive Game Aerannis

I had the pleasure to interview Robert Rollins from ektomarch about Aerannis which will be released on September 15, 2015 on Steam for the PC and MAC.

Aerannis is an open-ended mission-based action platformer with stealth elements. It is set in the future in Plovdiv which is ruled by radical feminists. The protagonist, a 27-year old transgender woman who is a professional assassin, uncovers a conspiracy run by an ancient society. She most choose if she should save a world who barely considers her a full person.

Official PinkFae CS:GO League 2015!

We’re very pleased to announce the first official PinkFae CS:GO tournament! Starting later this year, players will compete for a large pot of skins in a 1v1 format.

Eligibility and Registration

The tournament is solely for female players. Transgender female players are encouraged to participate. You must own CS:GO. Both amateur, semi-professional and professional players are welcome. The tournament is open on an international level.

To enter, please email [email protected], along with your Steam ID, ingame rank and RWS (if applicable) Rank and RWS will be used to ensure fair seeding.

Registration will close on the 30th of September

My Experiences at the 2015 Gen Con

My first to Gen Con in Indianapolis was a blast. I drove down there Thursday morning. I had some problems trying to figure out where I could park. I wasn’t able to make it to the Writing Comics: Writing Women Friendly Comics seminar since I got there later then I intended. I picked up some generic tickets and wondered around trying to find a program.
