Early last week we finally obtained the status of a tax exempt 591(c)(3) organization. It has always been my hope to make PinkFae Gaming a non-profit site to assist transgender players and developers and to educate to game designers about transgender representation. We have been providing you many good articles. Much of it is related to gaming, but there is also some of them that are centered around transgender streamers (for example SailorAmy). There is a beautiful article written about discovering yourself as a transgender through role play.
Providing you with articles and reviews are just the top of the iceberg. We also plan on attending conventions such as PAX and GenCon once they are back up and running after the pandemic is over. There we will be trying out new games and giving round table discussions for the gaming industry.
We also plan on doing more gaming competitions. We will be doing female-only, transgender inclusive DOTA games and Magic:The Gathering, again once the pandemic is over. We would also like to introduce a mixed gender and transgender inclusive gaming tournaments. There has been a lot of people saying that males should be included as well, so we’re going to introduce larger competitions where the teams are a mix of male and female players.
There is also some plans in the works to introduce a Twitch streaming site that will feature some of the known and unknown transgender streamers. This should be happening with in the next few weeks or so. An announcement will be made on this blog once it is unveiled. We’re very excited to provide you with this and hope that it encourages other transgender streamers to start streaming on them on. Also, it is our hope to showcase some of the great content that transgender streamers provide on Twitch.
We also have other things we would like to do, but it is all depending on how much funds we can raise. All of this would not be possible without donations from people like you. The site has been paid for with my own money up until 2030, so we have the bare bones of what we need until ten years from now. Yet, there is costs of paying yearly fees for some of the software that runs this site. There are some other software that I would like to add if we get the funds to do so.
Anything that you can give would be much appreciated. Keep looking at this page for more announcements to come. Along with some wonderful articles and reviews provided by our team of writers. Donate today!
